VYU ("we," "us") operates joinvyu.com. This policy explains what we collect during our pre-launch waitlist phase, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Your email address — only if you choose to join the waitlist.
Basic technical logs — like most websites, our hosting provider records standard visit information (browser type, approximate region, pages viewed) to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data. Period.

How we use your email

To tell you when VYU launches and share occasional product updates.
Nothing else. We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address.

Who else touches the data

Waitlist submissions are delivered to us by a form-relay service, and this site is served by a hosting provider. Both act only as processors on our behalf. When we launch the full VYU service, payments, video, and accounts will involve additional providers, and this policy will be updated before then.

Your choices and rights

Every email we send includes a way to opt out, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@joinvyu.com. We honor deletion requests within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK and California), you may have additional legal rights to access, correct, or delete your data. We honor these for everyone, regardless of location.

Children

VYU is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable threshold), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep waitlist emails until launch plus a reasonable transition period, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first.

Changes

When VYU launches as a full service (live streaming, payments, accounts), this policy will be replaced with a complete one covering those features. The "last updated" date at the top always tells you the current version.
